School Meals

The school kitchen is run by Mrs Irwin, our Catering Manager, along Mrs Riley and Miss Ferguson. They are an excellent team and work hard to make sure the food offered is excellent. The kitchen runs a three week rota (please see the menu below) and all children choose their choices with their parents in advance to ensure the children enjoy their lunches. If your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements, please ensure these are passed on to the school office. They will then be recorded and catered to by the kitchen team.

Pupils in Years Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Free Meals as part of a Government scheme. Once your child reaches Year 3, meals are then chargeable at £2.90 per child, this is paid for through our school app.

Free School Meals

How to claim:

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 all qualify for a free school meal (Universal Infant Free School Meal) worth up to £418 per year, per child; you do not need to apply for this, it is automatically applied to your child’s account. However, if you feel you are eligible for free school meals under the benefits-based criteria, please apply using the link below, as this brings in additional funding to school.

Pupils in Year 3 and above - if you receive certain benefits, your child may be eligible for free school meals and we will receive over £1,400 in extra funding to support their education. This Pupil Premium funding helps pay for extra resources, trips, and clubs for all children.

It’s quick and confidential to apply. Even if your child prefers a packed lunch, please register – it still helps our school.
