Our teacher in Year 1 is Mrs Hume and other adults working with us are Mrs Maddock and Miss Van Waardenberg
In Art we are going to be learning about spirals. The children had a go at making spirals outside on the playground.

In Science, the children have been learning about the human body. We drew round one child and labelled the body parts.
In maths, the children have been ordering numbers and using their fine motor skills to cut and stick the numbers.

The children have also been working hard on our library display. THe children created the owls for our display. Don't they look brilliant.
 |
In English, we are going to be reading Lost and Found. In preparation for this, the children have been making some penguins.
