Our new school Council has been elected and is comprised of pupils from Year 1 to Year 6.

We meet at lunchtime and the Councillors take their duties very seriously. They know they represent their classes and they have a book in which to record their peers' ideas and matters we have discussed.

The School Council actively promote keeping the school tidy. In one of their sessions, they made posters to go around the school.

Charity work is important to the School Council. Here they are sharing the school Harvest Collection with the Food Bank.

The School Council took school wreaths to the local war memorial on Remembrance Day.

Playleaders have been busy working with Shrona from Burnley School Sports Partnership to develop their play skills to make playtimes and lunchtimes more active.
