Our PE and sports council’s job is to encourage other children at Whittlefield to become more active and take part in a wide variety of sports in and out of school. They try their best to make sure everyone is taking part. They recently took part in a fun run to try and encourage other children from whittlefield to do the same.
They attend meetings to discuss their ideas and share information on ways to increase the activity level in and out of school. Some of their ideas include tennis, dance, basketball and swimming. Their main focus is to try and encourage the less confident children who don’t usually take part in sport.
They have recently created a questionnaire in order to find out what other children’s sports interest are so they can come up with ideas to get as many pupils active as possible.
