Autumn 2

English

In English, we will be exploring folk tales, including The Green Child and The Green Ship. We will practice key storytelling skills to help us write our own folk tale, focusing on character, setting, and plot.

Maths

In Maths, we will continue practicing addition and subtraction using the column method. We will also begin working on multiplication and division, focusing on the 2, 4, and 8 times tables.

Science

In Science, we will be learning about light and shadows. We will consider the importance of light, how it is

 produced, the potential dangers it can pose and lots more. 

History

This term we are still learning about The Stone Age, we will explore theories about Stonehenge, its purpose and its importance in history.
