English

The Green Ship (Red Fox Picture Books) by Quentin Blake | Goodreads

In English, we will be exploring folk tales, including The Green Child and The Green Ship. We will practice key storytelling skills to help us write our own folk tale, focusing on character, setting and plot.

 

 

Maths

In Maths, we will continue practicing addition and subtraction using the column method. We will also begin working on multiplication and division, focusing on the 2, 4 and 8 times tables.

 

Science

Indirect Lighting With LEDs: Find Some Cool Ideas - LampHQ

 

In Science, we will be learning about light and shadows. We will consider the importance of light, how it is

 produced, the potential dangers it can pose and lots more. 

 

 

Geography

In Geography, we will be learning about time zones and why different places around the world have different times. We will explore how the Earth rotates to create day and night. We will also learn about how the Prime Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time help us understand and measure time around the world.
