Phonics Screening

As you are aware in Year 1 the children take part in a phonics screening test. This involves the children using their phonics knowledge to spot the sounds in the words in order to read a mix of real and fake words. This is done individually starting the WC - 9th June 2025. 

I have attached a photo of a 'mock' phonics screening test. 

Any extra reading/ support you can provide your children at home would be amazing and very beneficial to their progress within this.
